What a difference a year makes!
It’s been over 17 months since fire ripped through our beloved San Remo Ballroom and destroyed the interior. Although devastating at the time, we chose to find the silver lining and took the opportunity to reimagine, redesign, update and elevate our decor and overall offering.
After a full year of planning and rebuilding, it is now just a short countdown until we complete our rise from the ashes, reopen our doors and welcome you back to the iconic San Remo Ballroom!
Better, bolder, brighter and more beautiful than before – what can you expect from the new and improved SRB?
Rebuilding from the ground up – from the new plush carpets underfoot, to the cascading chandeliers forming a halo of light above your heads – every design element has been meticulously chosen to create a stunning ambience of understated glamour, romantic decadence and luxury. Whilst staying true to our classic Art Deco heritage, we have added a modern twist to our new entrance foyer, bar and ballroom. The look is deep and moody, sleek and sophisticated, yet fresh and contemporary – the picture perfect backdrop to complement any special event.
