Mofo Lounge can host any type of event. We regularly host birthdays, engagement parties, corporate events, wedding receptions, Christmas parties and hens functions.
We can also cater for corporate workshops, product launches, corporate team building activities.
We also specialise in Cocktail Making Classes which are regularly booked for hens functions, corporate end of year events or as a team building activity. We also offer this activity as a mobile service where we take the class to the client’s location. We have done this for a few corporate EOFY/ end of year office parties.
WHAT CAN GUESTS ENJOY THE VENUE:
- Unique Moroccan inspired experience with stunning Morocan theme throughout. Rich Arabesque tapestries, large ornate mirrors, antique lanterns and luxurious daybeds create a real Moroccan ambience.
- Delicious Moroccan food menus
- Additional entertainment options such as bellydancers, tarot card readers and henna artists, or we can arrange other entertainment or activities at the request of the event.
- The expert staff are friendly and attentive providing and efficient service. We also offer a dedicated function manager who will help to plan the event.

Security is not a requirement but can be added at the client’s request for an additional charge.
DOES THE VENUE ALLOW OUTSIDE CATERING?
Outside catering is permitted when we are unable to cater for the particular event. For example we are unable to offer Kosher catering so have permitted outside catering on this occasion.
CAN UNDERAGE GUEST ATTEND EVENTS? ARE THERE ANY RULES / RESTRICTIONS AROUND THIS?
Underage guests are permitted to attend providing that they are in attendance with an adult who is responsible for them at all times.
CAN GUESTS STYLE / DECORATE THE EVENT SPACE?
Yes providing that it does not damage the venue
DOES THE VENUE SET UP FURNITURE?
The function rooms have a mix of couches, lounges, tables and chairs. Some of these can be moved within the room to suit the venues requirements. For corporate workshops that require seating we have additional folding chairs available.
IS THERE AUDIO VISUAL (AV)?
Both function rooms have a sound system and there is a TV in each room. The sound system can be connected to an iPod or similar device, or to a DJ. Input to our TV’s is by HDMI. We also have a projector screen available.
Any other AV can be hired in at a cost.

There is an area where guests are able to dance in both function rooms

There are windows allowing natural light in both function rooms. These have blinds that can be opened or closed to suit the event requirements.

Payment of any applicable room hire fee or deposit plus a $300 bond. Our T&C’s must also be completed. The bond is refunded post the event if there is no damage.

MEETING & EVENT SPACES INCLUDE:
An ideal party venue with capacity for 20 – 35 guests. Its unique size allows a smaller function to have exclusive use of an entire venue, opposed to sharing the venue with other parties. You have your own bar, wait staff and audio visual equipment.
