CAN UNDERAGE GUEST ATTEND EVENTS? ARE THERE ANY RULES / RESTRICTIONS AROUND THIS?
Yes, we do allow underage guests to attend events as long as they are accompanied by parents.
Parent supervision is required an we are very strict on Responsible Service of Alcohol.
CAN GUESTS STYLE / DECORATE THE EVENT SPACE?
Our Event Space is open plan and can be themed and styled to suit your event requirements. We do offer a list of preferred supplies, and additional charges may apply depending on the theming requirements. I.e rigging, audio-visual technician on duties etc
DOES THE VENUE SET UP FURNITURE?
When you book Hyatt Place Event Centre, we do all the venue set-up requirements such as tables, chairs, crockery etc. Should you be bringing in external providers for theming/styling it is their responsibility to set-up these additional items.
IS THERE AUDIO VISUAL (AV)?
We are proud to partner with Microhire (conveniently located within Hyatt Place Event Centre), to provide excellent technical and creative support services for your event whether big or small.
IS THERE A STAGE?
Hyatt Place Event Centre does own Stage pieces therefore no extra charge apply unless you need additional pieces that we do not have.
IS THERE A DANCE FLOOR?
Yes, we offer parquetry dance floor at now additional costs. Should you require a white or black gloss dance floors, we can connect you with some of our preferred supplies that offer this service at a reasonable hire fee.
IS THERE SPACE FOR A LIVE BAND?

The Atrium is a north-facing space designed to capture an abundance of natural light. Its retractable roof makes it a stress-free choice for indoor/outdoor events and exhibitions in all-weather conditions.
The State Room is the most intimate room available at Hyatt Place Event Centre and offers floor to ceiling windows, 180 degrees of natural light.
Three Oak Pavillion is a stunning outdoor space, nestled within beautifully landscaped gardens, which includes
three magnificent oak trees as a key element. Plenty of pure natural light here.
The Australian Room offers exposed natural light via the floor to ceiling windows at the rear of the venue via the pre function areas.
DOES THE VENUE ALLOW EXTERNAL MUSIC? (live bands, DJs etc)
Dj’s and live bands are most certainly permitted. Additional technician on duty fee may apply depending on their requirements. We also offer reasonable priced band/crew meals.
DO ANY OF YOUR EVENT SPACES HAVE ACCESS TO AN OUTDOOR AREA?
Three Oak Pavilion is stunning outdoor space set within beautifully landscaped gardens including three magnificent Oak trees. The striking pavilion structure has been constructed from old recycled wharf timber and includes a patterned glass roof and stunning water wall back drop. It’s the perfect space for a relaxed cocktail function or a backdrop for wedding ceremonies. It can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests.
The Atrium is a north facing, all-weather, light filled space. The retractable roof makes it ideal for indoor or outdoor events and exhibitions. It can be used as a standalone event space accommodating cocktail functions up to 310 guests and banquet dinners up to 200 seated guests.
DOES THE VENUE HAVE WHEELCHAIR ACCESS?
As our venue is a flat surfaced venue, wheelchair access is very convenient. We also offer large doorway entrances to all our event spaces, as well as disability/ambulant bathroom facilities as well as car parking bays.

Deposit terms are full pre-payment is required at least 7 days prior to the date of the event. A deposit schedule is provided at the time of contract and work with our clients to ensure the schedule works with their finance pay runs.
