This venue is a wonderfully lit, unique space. Original cranes and train machinery soar above our iconic Atrium, set off against distressed brick walls and elegant, arched windows.
DOES A VENUE HIRE FEE APPLY?
Venue hire is as follows:
1PAX Boardroom
Double Boardroom Redfern (2 x boardrooms opened into one space)
Bright Seminar room
Seminar Room plus part of Atrium breakout space for networking or dining
The Atrium
The full Atrium and Seminar room – $1100/hr, $3300/3 hrs, $3850/full day
WHAT IS THE LATEST TIME THE VENUE WILL ALLOW AN EVENT TO RUN?
10pm.
ARE THERE ADDITIONAL COSTS (ie: security, staffing, service charges etc)
We charge a cleaning fee of $100 for large events in the Atrium and Seminar Room. Setup fee for the Seminar room is $60/hr and for the Atrium is $120/hr. For any after hours and weekend events, we charge a 15% surcharge.
DOES THE VENUE ALLOW OUTSIDE CATERING?
Catering can be at the hirer’s expense, or as part of an all inclusive package.
CAN UNDERAGE GUEST ATTEND EVENTS? ARE THERE ANY RULES / RESTRICTIONS AROUND THIS?
Yes this is possible.
CAN GUESTS STYLE / DECORATE THE EVENT SPACE?
After hours and on weekends, the Atrium can be styled. Any time the seminar room and boardrooms can be styled.
DOES THE VENUE SET UP FURNITURE?
We are happy to set up furniture, the fee for the setup of the Seminar room is $60/hr and for the Atrium is $120/hr.
IS THERE AUDIO VISUAL (AV)?
The audio visual capabilities are:
Boardroom – TV monitor, video conferencing
Seminar Room – data projector, speakers, whiteboard and 2 wireless hand held microphones
Atrium – data projector, speakers, 1 wireless hand held mic and 2 wireless lapel mics
Our AV is ok for simple requirements, more complex AV presentations may require dedicated technical support to be arranged by the hirer
IS THERE A STAGE?
Yes, there is a portable stage in the Atrium and a wooden ‘stage’ section in the Seminar room.
IS THERE A DANCEFLOOR?
No.
IS THERE SPACE FOR A LIVE BAND?
In the past, we have had live bands perform on the stage and on the staircase (opposite the entry).
DO YOUR CONFERENCE / EVENT SPACES FEATURE NATURAL LIGHT?
Yes. We have large arched windows in the Atrium, adjoining seminar room, and the Boardroom overlooks the Atrium so is well lit.
DOES THE VENUE ALLOW EXTERNAL MUSIC? (live bands, DJs etc)
Not during business hours
DO ANY OF YOUR EVENT SPACES HAVE ACCESS TO AN OUTDOOR AREA?
In the past we have roped off the area outside our building where the is with a white picket fence for a breakout space or for registrations. The area has lots of trees and is quite nice.
DOES THE VENUE HAVE WHEELCHAIR ACCESS?
Yes, completely accessible.
