  • Our luxurious megaspace of 2500sqm is the biggest licensed venue in Melbourne’s CBD. With 75
    taps, 10 private function spaces, 8 pimped-up ping pong tables, 6 stand-up shuffleboards, 6
    spectacular bars, 4 shuffleboard courts, 6 social darts booths, a VR Playhouse with 4 booths, an open
    air patio, cabanas, automated and interactive game tech, it is an out-of-this-cosmos experience.

DOES A VENUE HIRE FEE APPLY?

A minimum spend requirement would apply.

WHAT IS THE LATEST TIME THE VENUE WILL ALLOW AN EVENT TO RUN?

5am

ARE THERE ADDITIONAL COSTS (ie: security, staffing, service charges etc)

There are no additional charges, unless the client wants something out of the ordinary or above and beyond the usual package.

DOES THE VENUE ALLOW OUTSIDE CATERING?

Generally speaking no, however there may be some exceptions to this

CAN UNDERAGE GUEST ATTEND EVENTS? ARE THERE ANY RULES / RESTRICTIONS AROUND THIS?

Underage guests are permitted to attend providing that they are in attendance with an adult who is responsible for them at all times. All minors will need to be off the premises by 11pm and under no circumstances may any minor consume alcohol.

CAN GUESTS STYLE / DECORATE THE EVENT SPACE?

Yes providing that it does not damage the venue

DOES THE VENUE SET UP FURNITURE?

Yes, we will set up the furniture that we have, and can always hire additional items in if needed.

IS THERE AUDIO VISUAL (AV)?

Yes, most spaces come with AV (screens and speakers)

Any other AV can be hired in at a cost.

IS THERE A STAGE?
There is no stage built in anywhere, but we can certainly hire one in.

IS THERE A DANCE FLOOR?

There is no physical dancefloor, but dancing is certainly welcome and encouraged in your private
space!

IS THERE SPACE FOR A LIVE BAND?

Yes, there is plenty of space for a live band.

DO YOUR CONFERENCE / EVENT SPACES FEATURE NATURAL LIGHT?

Yes, most spaces feature natural light. Some spaces have more than others.

DOES THE VENUE ALLOW EXTERNAL MUSIC? (live bands, DJs etc)

Yes, we do allow external music however it does need to be approved by the event manager.

DO ANY OF YOUR EVENT SPACES HAVE ACCESS TO AN OUTDOOR AREA?

Yes, we have a very small outdoor area on level two and an open air patio on level 3 which will be included for large events in that space, or can be separately booked for smaller groups.

DOES THE VENUE HAVE WHEELCHAIR ACCESS?
The venue does have wheelchair access, however there are a couple of steps at the entrance off Coverlid Place. We have a ramp available if needed and once upstairs via the lift, the whole 2nd and 3rd floors are accessible with bathrooms available on both levels.

Unfortunately the Virtual Reality Playhouse is located downstairs on a mezzanine level so might be out of reach for some.

WHAT TIME IS THE VENUE LICENSED UNTIL?

The venue is licensed until 5am, however we will generally be trading until 1am at the latest.

WHAT ARE THE DEPOSIT TERMS?

Tentative bookings are held for seven days upon request and are not guaranteed. If another enquiry is made for the same date, we will contact you to check your intention prior to releasing the date.
Should the booking form and deposit not be received within seven days, Ballers Clubhouse reserves the right to cancel the tentative booking. Function bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of a signed booking form and deposit of $500 paid in full. This deposit can be made via credit card or EFT. Larger functions may require a larger deposit and this will be outlined in your booking form
